The sun shone brightly and spirits were high as Mandy, Kelly, and office therapy pup Penny headed out one Friday morning in late August to surprise the four lucky teachers chosen as winners of our 2022 Teacher Supply Giveaway! Brilliant red apple balloons festooned the prize bags which also contained $100 Office Depot gift cards and an assortment of other goodies.  Although the wind was strong that day, and a few balloons managed to dance away on the breeze, the crew persevered to deliver the loot. Prizes were distributed to Jennifer Wilson at McCants Middle School, Brandi Kelley at Midway Elementary, Stacy Smith at North Pointe Elementary, and Haley Callahan at LaFrance Elementary.  

We encountered the sweetest responses from all of our teacher winners….utter surprise, grateful delight, and even happy tears. Every teacher expressed genuine gratitude to Dr. Poole, and they were so thankful for his interest in giving back to area educators. One teacher even dubbed  the doctor a “rock star” for his generosity and kind spirit. 

A highlight of the day for the teachers was being able to cuddle and pose for photos with our therapy pup, Penny, who gladly obliged to be the center of attention. It was a wonderful day of sharing and giving back. Can’t wait to do it again next year!
